Hot Ballroom Night - Sept 17, 2016

Our first major charity event was a hige success!   It was a glamorous star-studded evening with over 500 people in attendance including the mayor of Hermosa Beach,  The event raised over $21,000 for several very important charities including: P.S. I Love ​You Foundation,
Storeytime, Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, Sandpipers, The Wiseburn Education Foundation, and USA Dance Kidz.

And the winner is...
Evan Greene, who is fighting the debilitating disease of Myasthenia Gravis, took home the 2016 Hot Ballroom Night trophy garnering an additional $1000 for his charity. the Myasthenia Gravis Foundaiton.  He also tied for the judge's pick for an additional $500.00 prize.  Evan and his partner, Holli performed a cha cha.
Jane Comitz, educator and former principal of the Wiseburn Education Foundation shared the judge's pick prize and is seen here doing the argentine tango with her professional partner, Konstantin.
Jerry Hernandez, environmental engineer for the city of Los Angeles danced a quickstep with his professional partner , Deborah Fields Perez and raised moeny for his charity, USA Dance Kidz .

    - Produce and fund Hot Ballroom Night - Bring ballroom dancing instruction to local schools - Sponsor a junior Olympian in DanceSport competitions or in the Special Olympics - Sponsor children and adults to compete in formal dance competitions - Hold dance events for people of all ages to interact and socialize
